Wireless High Speed Internet Connection

Wireless high speed internet connection is available through wireless routers for home networking and through cell phone companies for anywhere else.

For in-home wireless connections, most use a wireless router, which allows the standard DSL or cable broadband connection to be used wirelessly throughout the home and near the house.

These routers typically use low-cost 802.11 Wi-Fi systems to allow for broadband connectivity throughout the house.

In cases where the home is an residential apartment building, the house association may purchase and install the wireless internet connection for common use throughout the building with pooled money.

For connections outside of homes and houses, most use high speed internet broadband connections from cell phone companies.

These high speed connections to the internet are usually available almost in all the locations where there is cell phone connectivity as well. However, it is always best to check the coverage areas from the cell phone companies website before purchase.

These broadband technologies are often called 3G or better, and the speeds that are available for mobile netsurfing are typically similar to lower DSL broadband speeds at homes.
