Next Generation of Toshiba Laptops It’s obvious that Toshiba makes every effort to increase market share in business laptops. Toshiba Laptops – Satellite Series Satellite notebooks fall into three groups: A-Series (Desktop Replacement). Choose Intel Celeron based models for basic computing, and Intel Pentium 4 models for intermediate applications. Select models offer wireless LAN. M-Series (Mobile Productivity): Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, extended battery life, wide-screen XGA display, wireless LAN (802.11g). P-Series (Multimedia Performance). Systems include an Intel Pentium 4 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology, Microsoft operating system, wide-screen XGA displays to 17-inches, advanced NVIDIA graphics, DVD burner, and harman/kardon sound. Toshiba Laptops - Portégé Series Portege series are designed for the mobile professional desiring innovation and reliability, all in a light-weight package. The ultra-portable model in the series is titled R100. Toshiba Laptops - Tecra Series These laptops are designed for Corporate and Small Business sectors, and provide performance in a light weight, dockable package. All models have the Intel Centrino Mobile Technology. Toshiba Laptops - Qosmio Series Qosmio laptops are targeted to offer state-of-the-art technology and streamlined design. These laptops offer 4-in-1 functionality combining TV, Audio, PC and DVD features in one compact package.
