Technics CD Players

Technics CD players are available in the greater global marketplace, but in the U.S., the players are sold under the Panasonic brand. This is strategic brand choice by Matsushita, the owner of both Technics and Panasonic.

In the U.S., Technics has a product line called the Technics DJ. This line consists of turntables, mixers, and headphones for the best DJing. However, the next generation turntables from Technics will be CD-based, and these will probably be sold under the Technics mark in the U.S. as well.

Technics is very much integrated into the history of turntables and DJing, as the world’s first direct drive turntable was released by Technics back in 1969. That has been followed by series of world firsts up to the modern day Dual Dynamic Drive speaker technology.

In the global marketplace, Technics has CD player/recorder combos, with carousel units for multiple discs, combined with affordable prices. There’s also micro and mini systems, plus DJ equipment.

Technics CD Players – Europe

Europe is a major marketplace for the Technics brand. There, the availability of different separate CD players and systems varies from country to country.
