T-Mobile Ringtones

The best value official T-Mobile ringtones are provided with the t-zones add-on package that you may subscribe to with your T-Mobile cell phone plan.

Naturally, you’ll first need a ringtones capable phone to download ringtones. Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens or Sony Ericsson all have GSM/GPRS/WCDMA cell phones (T-Mobile’s network) with (monotonic, polyphonic, or HiFi) ringtone capability.

However, if you find, say T-Mobile ringers for Samsung, before downloading them to your Nokia phone, make sure that the standard used is the same, say, of MP3 or MIDI.

Which T-Mobile phone has the best ringers is a matter of taste and depends not only whether the phone supports such advanced ringers as MP3 ringing tones, but also on the cell phones' speakers.

However, expect to pay a bit more for HiFi T-Mobile ringers (at $1.99 and up, per download), as there aren’t too many companies producing them.

Counterbalancing that, you can quite easily make your own, free T-Mobile MP3 ringing tones, with such tools as Ringtone Ripper, a free download.

How Can YOU Get T-Mobile Ringtones?

Fortunately for T-Mobile customers, the company behind T-Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, has a long history with ringtones (in Europe).

And because they’ve been able to negotiate prices as low as they can go, you’ll get a bargain price if you use the official T-Mobile ringing tones service (with t-zones service).

The ringer downloads in the t-zones package, unlike almost all the other ringer services in the U.S., are paid for with monthly payments. You pay a monthly fee (around $5 to $10) for which you can download T-Mobile ringtones.

To find out more about the service, see, www.t-mobile.com/services/tones/overview.asp.

In addition to subscribing to the t-zones service, you’ll need a phone capable of using the service (not all phones are).

Pricing of T-Mobile Ringtones

For the price you pay for the t-zones service, you can download an unlimited amount of mobile web content.

T-Mobile has taken the pricing model from Japan, where the success of the ringtone services has been phenomenal (partly) due to monthly billing and low per ringtone prices.
