T-Mobile Jobs

There is a dedicated T-Mobile jobs website available, where you can fetch jobs, upload/edit your applicant profile, learn about college events, and learn more about T-Mobile.

Before you use the T-Mobile employment website for making an actual application, however, it's good to do a lot of background research on what T-Mobile wants from their applicants.

Granted, that usually is dependent on what position you're seeking within T-Mobile, but there are some general guidelines.

It has been stated by T-Mobile that they have a soft spot for people with:

  • Relentless focus
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Personal accountability
  • Teamwork skills

If you can prove that you can provide those skillsets from day one (starting with your application cover letter and CV), you're on the right track to become an employee at T-Mobile.

For industry (Telecom & Wireless) background research, I've found the information available on vault.com to be the best available.

Also, once you've gotten over the initial hurdle and you're preparing for a job interview, make sure to read Vault's employee message boards.

Vault.com message boards are designed for a community of employees, job seekers, insiders and interested observers, and you can find useful tips for preparing for your interview there.

T-Mobile Jobs - Official Recruitment Website

For prospective job seekers, T-Mobile has made a dedicated website, in co-operation with a company called RecruitMax.

If you currently have a T-Mobile Sidekick2, you'll love the career website interface, which mimics that of the Sidekick.

In the career website, you can:

  • Learn more about the culture and values of T-Mobile
  • Search current jobs
  • Update your job seeker profile
  • Find information for college students, recent graduates, and locate recruitment events

Also, if you sign up to the service, you can save premade searches on their jobs database and get email notifications if new jobs emerge on those areas.

You can also build your resume online with the T-Mobile Resume Builder (available under Update My Profile, then choose Resume Builder).

Here's a direct link to the T-Mobile Recruitment Website (opens up a new window).
