Sunflower Broadband

Sunflower Broadband (formerly known as Sunflower Cablevision) has high speed internet access area to nearly 80% of all homes in the Lawrence, Eudora, and Douglas County area.

In the company's service area, Sunflower primarily competes with SBC's DSL service.

Sunflower high-speed Internet service is delivered through Sunflower's advanced fiber-optic cable network to your home or office.

In addition to cable Internet, Sunflower also has Wi-Fi hot spots throughout its service area, in over ten locations.

Sunflower Broadband Packages

There are two basic packages for residential broadband Internet access from the company.

These packages are:

  • Basic Residential Internet $39.95/mo. without cable TV service
  • Up to 2 Mbs download speed and 256 Kbps upload
  • 3 E-Mail accounts
  • 6 GB/month transfer limit

  • Premium Residential Internet $54.95/mo. without cable TV service
  • Up to 3Mbps download and 512 Kbps upload
  • 5 E-mail accounts
  • 10 GB/month transfer limit
The residential Internet service requires an active Sunflower cable line to your residence.

Residential service also requires a DOCSIS cable modem which may be leased or purchased from Sunflower or provided by you.
