Sprint Ringtones

Sprint ringtones are part of the next generation of services that use the advanced CDMA 1xRTT network. You'll be able to transfer data (such as ringers) with speeds equal to a dial-up connection at home (peak speed of 144 kbps, actual average speeds 50-70 kbps).

The Sprint ringtones are only available for special handsets and cell phone plans with "PCS vision" add-on package.

The whole PCS Vision experience includes, besides polyphonic ringtones, the ability to take and receive pictures, check personal and corporate e-mail, play games with full color graphics (and polyphonic sounds) and browse the Internet wirelessly.

The way to get Sprint ringtones

The Sprint ringtones can be downloaded using the PCS Vision handset. You'll also need a PCS Vision plan that provides you access (the ringtones cost you separately) to the advanced CDMA2000 1xRTT network.

The PCS Free and Clear Plans with Vision offer access to the Sprint ringtones service.

You can add the Vision services to Free and clear plans for an additional fee. The current cost is $15 per month for the Sprint PCS Vision Premium Pack (the price may change at any time).
