Sprint Cell Phones
Sprint cell phones are sold by the company specifically to the different account holders: standard phones for standard plan accounts and Vision phones for Vision additional service plans.
However, the Vision phones can be used with Free and Clear and Fair and Flexible plans, but standard phones are not Vision capable. The standard phones are not capable of using most of the features listed for Vision phones. Sprint Cell Phones – Vision Phones The main difference between the phone types is that Vision phones can use Vision service features, such as Picture mail Messaging Games Ringers Screen savers Web PCS business connection Vision service takes advantage of the next generation 1XRTT cellular network with transmission rates up to theoretical 144 kbps. At these speeds, comparable to home dial-up Internet connections, sending even larger data packets becomes an easy and quick task. Sprint Cell Phones – Vision Features The most favored feature of Vision cell phones is the ability to take and send pictures with Picture Mail. The company has announced that customers with camera phones take and send an average of 15 pictures a month to their friends, collegues, and relatives. However, when using Sprint Picture Mail service, you cannot send these pictures to other networks that use different picture messaging standards, such as MMS.
