Cell Phone Radio Service for Sprint Customers

MSpot Radio has announced that they will start offering streaming wireless radio service to Sprint PCS customers that have the Vision cell phone plan.

Although MSpot refers to their main competition as Sirius and XM satellite radio, the MSpot wireless streaming radio service is targeted to the mobile phone customers from the start, something that XM and Sirius are only now working on.

The new streaming wireless radio consists of 13 live, on-demand music, news, sports, finance, weather and talk channels. Sprint will be offering the service for $5.95 a month to those that have a suitable cell phone plan and cell phone.

MSpot has plans to offer additional services for their customers in the coming months, ranging from motion pictures, premium video programming and mobile-exclusive original programming.

MSpot is a relative newcomer, but having the backing of Sprint should give them a flying start.
