Satellite TV Frequencies

There are many resources for satellite TV frequencies, but the best of them are kept up-to-date on a regular basis. These providers include satellite TV magazines, satellite platform providers (satellite companies), and similar companies operating in the satellite television industry.

To be able to get a satellite channel, you need to decide which channels you want to get from which satellites.

Then, information provided for these satellites include the orbital position plus the frequency of the channel.

Satellite TV Frequencies – Providers

There are many good sources listing available satellites in the sky and their associated channels (with frequencies).

Much of this information is dependent on where you live.

It’s not possible to receive channels from all satellites due to the shape of the earth.

Providers of channel frequencies include:

www.lyngsat.com
www.satcodx.com
www.satmania.com

Another way to find the frequencies, if you know the name of the satellite, such as Astra, is to go directly to their homepage.

Then, look up position and channel charts, which usually have detailed, up-to-date information on the channels that are available from that satellite.

You can also think about the TV offerings that are available through broadband, as many of them overlap the channels available through satellite TV.
