Rogers Broadband

Rogers broadband service was the pioneer in North America, as it was the first high-speed internet service of it's kind in North America back in 1995.

As a cable company, the company has been very successful in getting their basic cable subscribers to add high speed internet to their services. Over 35% of the customer base has done so.

You can save money by buying cable, wireless, and Internet services in one bundle from the company. These are called Better Choice Bundles, and save as much as 15% on the whole package.

The service is offered in four main categories, divided by service speed.

  • Hi-Speed Internet Extreme $44.95/mo.
  • Modem set-up of up to 5.0 Mbps download and 800 Kbps upload
  • Purchase of DOCSIS modem required
  • 10 MB of WebSpace per active e-mail address
  • Provides up to 9 e-mail addresses
  • Technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Hi-Speed Internet Express $44.95
  • Modem set-up of up to 3.0 Mbps download and 384 Kbps upload
  • Provides up to 9 e-mail addresses
  • 10 MB of WebSpace per active e-mail address
  • Hi-Speed Internet Lite $29.95
  • Modem set-up of up to 256 Kbps download and 64 Kbps upload
  • Provides up to 5 e-mail addresses
  • Technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Hi-Speed Internet Ultra-Lite $19.95
  • Delivers a 64 Kbps modem setting vs. the typical 56 Kbps for dial-up
  • Unlimited hours, no term contract, no-charge basic installation
