Road Runner broadband is a cable high speed internet service from Time Warner Cable, holding the no.2 spot in terms of cable Internet subscribers.

Cable Internet has been holding an advantage in high speed Internet connections over DSL, with every 2 out of 3 choosing to go with cable Internet.

The new premium level of service has speeds as fast as 6.0 Mbps (download).

Road Runner is available primarily through Time Warner Cable and Bright House Communications. The service areas include cities in the following states:

The price of the Road Runner Online Service typically varies from one market to another.

However, according to the company, on average, a monthly subscription is $44.95 per month and includes a cable modem.

This fee is in addition to the regular monthly cable subscription.

The average price for the one-time installation fee varies depending on location and you may be able to skip that fee with a self-installation kit.
