PC DVD Player Software
Much of the available PC DVD player software is available for free, but there are also some great packages that are not free that you should think about trying out and possibly purchasing.
There are several of these sites that offer the service of downloadable freeware, shareware, and commercial DVD player programs. If you're not satisfied with the free players, you have the option of trying out the commercial programs offered through these sites. The try-out period is usually somewhere between 21-30 days, after which you have to buy the program to continue using it. The programs may also have limited features from the full version. PC DVD Player Software - Manufacturers You can find many of the free players either from the sites that have databases of them, or directly from the manufacturers themselves. The manufacturers (software companies) that have free offers for PC platforms include: # Cliprex Vide Software (DS DVD Player)# Microsoft (Windows Media Player)# Xine# Cyberlink (PowerDVD) If you have a DVD player in your computer, the purchase probably included software to view the DVD discs as well. Popular packages that are sold in connection with DVD drives include PowerDVD and Nero (for burning DVDs). There are demonstration versions available for PowerDVD as well as Nero at download.com. The versions are free to buy, but you must buy the package after expiry.
