Denon Releases New DVD Players

Denon has released two new DVD players to their lineup, the DVD-1920 and entry-level model DVD-1720.

Of these, the DVD-1920 offers good value for money feature-wise. The DVD player supports SACD and DVD-Audio playback, uses a Faroudja FLI2301 DCDi chipset for image enhancement, and has a HDMI 1.1 interface for best digital video signal quality.

The entry-level model DVD-1720, on the other hand, has scaled-down features, but does have advanced features such as 10-bit, 54Mhz video D/A converter and Burr Brown Audio digital-to-analog converters.

You can also use Windows Media Audio files with both of the players.

Also, both of the new Denon DVD products are compatible with Kodak and Fuji Picture CDs.
