Iomega DVD Drives

Iomega DVD drives and burners have won several awards, such as the "Best of CeBIT America Award 2003", for innovation and technical advancement. In fact, their all-format burners have been one of the first to embrace all of the available major burner standards, DVD-RAM, DVD-R/-RW, and DVD+R/+RW (that's why they won the price).

Iomega has a DVD wizard that will help you choose the best format when you use the all-format burner. The recordable choices include the five DVD standards and CD-R and CD-RW.

The great software bundled with the drives don't stop at convenient wizard programs, as there is, with selected burner drives, also much acclaimed back-up sofware to take care of your back-up needs smoothly.

Also, selected burners have HotBurn Pro software for Windows XP environment for advanced yet easy recording and editing of your own DVDs. Plus, there's a selection of other useful bundled software, much of it exclusive to Iomega drives.

Available Iomega DVD Drives

Iomega is offering multiformat DVD burners as there is no one dominant industry standard in sight (the formats are DVD-RAM, DVD-R/-RW and DVD+R/+RW. Using an Iomega burner will thus lessen the likelihood that your burner will be obsolete from that point of view anytime soon.

The burners from the company come as both internal and external drives. The available models include:

* Iomega Super DVD Writer All-Format external drive* Iomega Super DVD Writer All-Format internal drive* Iomega Dual 4x internal drive (supports DVD+R/+RW and DVD-R/-RW)

As for best prices, you should at least take a peek at the iomega.com site before purchasing from anywhere else. I've found them to have great online rebates and specials under the site's "promotions" sub-page.
