The Insight broadband service is offered by Insight, the 9th-largest cable operator in the U.S., with 1.4 million customers.

Founded in 1985, the company has grown to offer services in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

Insight Broadband Service

The broadband service, which is based on cable broadband technology, is available in Insight coverage areas in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

However, Insight customers in Columbus, Ohio, get their high-speed cable internet connection from Road Runner (a Time Warner Cable service).

The speed of the service is up to 70 times faster than traditional dial-up service, providing enough bandwidth for most home and small business users.

For advanced broadband users and bigger businesses, the company has Insight Plus, which offers upload speeds up to 384kpbs.
