HughesNet, on the other hand, is the #1 satellite internet choice in the U.S. for broadband by satellite.

To access the satellite broadband service, you need to be located in the contigous US with a clear view of the southern sky, Alaska and Hawaii excluded.

The reported download speeds for the service range from 728 kbps up to 2.5 Mbps.
