Many GPS receiver packages include a GPS receiver that connects by a USB port and also may come with suitable software. One of the most popular ones packages with the hardware is the Rand McNally's StreetFinder software, which contains detailed street maps for the contiguous United States and Hawaii, plus over a million points of interest and business locales. Other popular GPS receivers include Magellan Meridian Color, which is a mid-range receiver, and a higher priced model from Garmin StreetPilot III. The full-color StreetPilot III has voice-prompted directions, estimated time of arrival, distance from destination, and points of interest. Beyond Rand McNally's StreetFinder software, one of the popular software packages includes Microsoft Streets and Trips with 16.7 million miles of mapped roads. The software includes over a million points of interest, search-by-address capabilities, customizable maps, and GPS system support among other things.
