Gamecube Broadband Adapter

Gamecube broadband adapter is a network adapter for the Nintendo GameCube game console.

The adapter is a product of Conexant and made in the Philippines.

The adapter is widely known by the name GameCube BBA.

There are at least four game titles that use the adapter for online play, by Sega (Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II, Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus, and Phantasy Star Online Episode III C.A.R.D. Revolution), and Chunsoft (Homeland, only available in Japan).

The adapter also allows LAN play with game titles Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Kirby Air Ride, and 1080° Avalanche.

In general terms, the broadband adapter works with the console to allow you to connect to an online network where you will be able to trade data and play games online.

Most obvious uses for the adapter are multiplayer action games and titles that support large numbers of players.
