Fujitsu Laptops

Fujitsu laptops are known for good overall quality, small laptop designs, and all-in-one features.

As of late, Fujitsu has been aiming it's resources on tablet PC's that represent the next generation of laptop computing.

In fact, even some of the company's more conventional laptops feature touch-screen displays, making it harder to make a choice between tablet PCs and traditional laptops.

Fujitsu has many success stories with Pocket PCs in Japan. These successes have brought many Japanese features into laptops in the U.S. as well. For example, the P series has taken many of the more successful Pocket PC features into their final laptop designs.

The main line of Fujitsu laptops is titled "LifeBook". The main line of laptops has 6 subcategories (plus one for tablet PCs, titled T series), reviewed below.

LifeBook B series

The B series were the world's first mini-notebooks with touch screens. As the laptops have 10'4'' displays (touch screens), integrated wireless LANs, and mobile processor technology, business people should be interested in reviewing one of these for their next laptop purchase.

LifeBook C series

The C series provide a good overall choice, all-in-one systems, to replace a desktop computer. The series have 15'' displays, built-in wireless LAN connectivity, plus crystal view screen technology.

In a nutshell, the C series laptops provide good performance, portability, and low power consumption.

LifeBook E series

These are more powerful Fujitsu laptops, with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology, ATI Mobility RADEON 9700 graphics, and SUPER AG (802.11a+b/g) wireless LAN in the E8000D series.

LifeBook N series

These Fujitsu laptops offer Intel Pentium 4 M processors that support Hyper-Threading technology, full size keyboards, and 802.11 a+b/g dual-band wireless LAN.

LifeBook P series

The ultra-portable P series offer much of the same qualities as do the B series. The aim is maximum portability, with Intel Centrino Mobile Technology with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection and biometric security. This way mobile professionals can get the maximum portability with the best in laptop security.

LifeBook S series

At under 4-lbs, these Fujitsu laptops offer good value for the business user. The series feature Pentium M processors (or low-voltage mobile AMD Athlon processors) and long operational times.
