Free T-Mobile Sidekick

With the available rebates, you can get a free T-Mobile Sidekick, even though the suggested retail price for the device is $299.

The Sidekick (also found in markets as a Danger HipTop), is more than merely a cell phone - it's a combination of cell phone, handheld, and a communication manager. Some call the Sidekick a smart phone.

The newest edition of the Sidekick, T-Mobile Sidekick2, offers lots of improvements over the first generation Sidekick.

What you'll first notice is the big color screen and the conveniently-sized QWERTY keyboard, which is great for rapid typing of emails or SMS messages.

There's also a built-in camera, and with the Multimedia Messaging Service support, you can send the pictures in a snap.

With the Sidekick, you can also hop online and check your favorite Web sites.

But wait, there's more: you can even make a phone call with the Sidekick 2 :) .

How to Get a FREE T-Mobile Sidekick

Not all cell phone stores are equal when it comes to shopping around for the best deal, and that point is proven with the Sidekick.

Most (online) cell phone stores offer the Sidekick either for the suggested retail price ($299 with a new cell phone plan, $374.99 without) or equal the instant and other rebates that you can get from the T-Mobile online store, but still, the phone won't be free.

There is, however, one store, LetsTalk, that constantly pulls ahead of competition when it comes to offering free cell phones.

They can do this by having a large scale operation, small marginal and fixed costs, and they provide those savings back to you in the form of their own rebates (on top of the rebates you get from T-Mobile).

Almost all the rebates, however, require you to purchase a cell phone plan together with the phone. There may also be other requirements, so always read the fine print in detail.

The LetsTalk offer for the free Sidekick (together with a cell phone plan) after rebates may end at any time.
