Free T-Mobile HiFi ringtones are free real music clips used as ringtones on your cell phone, mostly in MP3 or WAV format. T-Mobile also provides great sounding polyphonic ringing tones, called MegaTones.

The T-Mobile HiFi ringing tone service that has those artists was launched for the Valentines Day celebration in 2004. Downloads for ringtone and other mobile content services have been on a very rapid growth path for T-Mobile, with growth rates of up to 500% on yearly level. The supported phones for the T-Mobile HiFi ringing tone service include Motorola V300, Samsung e105, Samsung e715, Samsung V205 and Nokia 3650. Resources for Free T-Mobile HiFi Ringtones Because the MP3 and WAV standards are universally supported in the audio industry, you can find several sources of free HiFi ringtones content for the formats. One of the best of the free websites to find suitable sized MP3 audio files is the Walmart Music Store that has thousands of MP3 files available. These audio files are actually MP3 previews of CD tracks, but they also make great MP3 ringers (don't go to the music downloads section for the previews, however). The Walmart selection comes in 30 second clips, at 235 KB file size, recorded at 64 kbps bit rate. Another store, smokecds.com, has 45 second preview MP3 files, at 266 KB file size, recorded at 48 kbps. To download these free HiFi ringtones, simply use right click and Save Target As to copy the ringer to your desktop. For some cell phones, such as selected Samsung cell phones, you may have to convert the files from MP3 or WAV format to MMF (which is based on SMAF ( Synthetic music Mobile Application Format). Free tools to do so are available from smaf-yamaha.com. Then, you have to transfer the file to your T-Mobile phone with either Bluetooth connection, with cables, or infrared, and phone manager software.
