Ericsson Phones Ring Tones

Ericsson phones ring tones are available as free keypress ringtones, free polyphonic ringers, and Real Music ring tones.

There are also commercial sites that have tons of ringtones for a small fee.

Monotonic free ringers are usually made to be used with the Ericsson cell phone's composer unit. This composer unit can produce ringtones if you type in the notes, rests and octaves in a specific format the composer can use.

Not all Ericsson cell phones have composers, so check whether this applies to your phone model.

You don't need to reinvent the wheel by making from musical notes the latest tunes in the ringing tone composer. Instead, you can get ready-made keysequences that you just copy to the composer.

Then, there are online composers, such as the MusicDJ composer available at the Sony Ericsson corporate site's "Fun" section.

With these online composers, you can compose unique tunes you can use as ringtones, alarms, or a soundtrack to an MMS message.

You can also easily make free MP3 ringers, if your cell phone supports that format, from any CD track or MP3 song that you have.

One good, free audio editing tool that can help you in making MP3 ringers is Ringtone Ripper.

Ericsson Phones Ring Tones - Resources

There are many sites that offer pre-made keypress sequences for Ericsson phones and other cell phones with composer units.

In fact, if you are unable to find a particular song in keypress format for your Ericsson, you can use a ringtone converter to convert a tone from non-Ericsson format into Ericsson compatible format. Then use data cables and compatible phone management software to transfer the ringer to the cell phone from your PC.

Similarly, if your cell phone supports HiFi ringers, you can download them first to the desktop, then to your cell phone. Free Ericsson phones ring tones in HiFi quality are available from, for example, mobileplayground.co.uk.

The most popular way to get ringtones to your Ericsson is to use one of the available commercial sites (including sonyericsson.com/fun/).

Almost all of them also carry tunes for Ericsson's, and by surfing a couple of them through you'll likely to find at least a selection of the latest hits to your wireless phone.
