Ebm-papst Korea to Start Producing Air Purifiers


Ebm-papst Korea, a major supplier of fans and motors to the biggest Korean electronic and communications companies, is planning to start producing air purifiers.

The news of the plans for expansion came from an investor relations session and an exhibition of products in downtown Seoul by the company.

The ebm-papst name has been known for high engineering quality in the design of fans for over 50 years. The company has headquarters in Mulfinger, Germany, and has a string of innovations to its credit.

As for market share, EBM-papst Inc. is the largest fan and blower company in North America and the world.

Because of their engineering excellence and B2B focus, the new air purifier products are likely to be targeted at the industrial air cleaning market.
