Downloadable T-Mobile Ringtones
There are downloadable T-Mobile ringtones directly from t-zones (for low monthly fees), you can get unlimited amounts of MegaTones from several services, or make your own ringers from downloaded MP3s.
In addition to the t-zones service, for a low monthly fee, there are several services that carry a small fee, but you can download unlimited amounts of content to your T-Mobile phone (there may be additional fees associated with the download transfer, however). For example, Planet Ringtone has advanced polyphonic and HiFi (MP3) ringers available for T-Mobile customers, for a low monthly fee and unlimited downloads. Another popular service is 3gupload.com, which mostly has polyphonic ringers, and used to be free for users, but now charges a small fee. You can also try ToneThis.com, which has a similar pricing structure (of a one time fee). Downloadable T-Mobile Ringtones - Downloading Free Content If you have a HiFi-tones/MP3-ringers capable phone, in principle, you could use any MP3 track on your desktop also in your cell phone as a MP3 ringtone. However, cell phones typically require smaller file sizes for MP3 ringtones, and a length of about 30 seconds. The 30 second barrier limits the file size to around 200 KB, and can be less if you modify the bit rate of the file. For this type of MP3 downloads, check out the Walmart Music Store, which has these types of MP3s in the thousands, all available for downloading to your desktop (don't go to the music downloads section for the previews, however). The file size for the Walmart MP3 preview files is 235 KB, but you can make the file smaller by adjusting the bit rate downwards with (free) audio editing tools such as Audacity or WavePad.
