Computer Monitor Reviews

You can locate computer monitor reviews from consumer review sites, computer resellers that have reviews, and opinion sites.

There are two main categories of reviews. For one, there are editorial reviews from magazines and online publications.

The editorial reviews tend to be technical in nature, with lots of points for comparison to the other similar offers out there.

The other category is consumer reviews. These are reviews by consumers, and are mostly about how the computer monitor has operated in actual use over a longer period of time.

Normally, if you combine these two types of reviews in your research, you get a pretty good feeling if the monitor is the right one for you.

Computer Monitor Reviews - Editorial

Editorial reviews are many times provided by services that require subscribtions. Therefore, you're likely to find not too many editorial reviews out there.

Most of the major publications require a subscription for you to be able to read the reviews. Usually, the access to online content is provided with a subscription to the off-line paper magazine.

Luckily, there are sources that provide editorial reviews of computer monitors online.

These sources include:

reviews.cnet.com

pcmag.com

pcworld.com

Computer Monitor Reviews - Consumer

For consumer reviews, you have several options to choose from. For one, you can go to consumer review / consumer opinion sites.

These sites include:

consumerreview.com

epinions.com

Similarly, reseller stores for computers have many times reviews from consumers attached to them.

The ability by visitors to give their 2 cents on the products increases customer loyalty, which leads to repeat visits.

Online reseller web sites that have reviews in them include circuitcity.com and amazon.com.

Into the reseller category can be added online comparison engines. Most of these engines also have consumer reviews on them. This way, you not only get information on the best prices, but also on the best quality products, all in one site.

The online comparison engines with reviews include bizrate.com, shopping.com, and nextag.com.

Finally, to get different types of reviews, participate on some of the online groups that discuss computer monitors (usually under more generic computer discussion groups).

These groups can be found from, for example:

groups.yahoo.com (former eGroups)

groups.msn.com
