Computer Book Clubs

Computer book clubs are a great way to get new and classic computer books at discount prices, as well as get recommendations on the best computer books.

One of the most notable book clubs for computers is Computer Books Direct (computerbooksdirect.com).

Founded in 1983, Computer BooksDirect is now the largest book club in the world related to computers.

This club is organized by the same company that is behind Book-of-the-Month Club, The Literary Guild, Quality Paperback Book Club, Doubleday Book Club, and the Readers' Subscription, for example. In total, they operate over 40 book clubs.

They offer the best books and software for every area of interest, including basic and advanced programming, system and database development, LAN management, internetworking and certification programs.

With the club, you receive a free club magazine about every 3 weeks, up to 18 times a year. The magazine has a Featured Selection for the club along with a dated reply card.

Now, you can choose from either the current Featured and Alternate Selections, or from a selection of recently offered titles.

If you want the Featured Selection, you do nothing and it will be sent to you automatically.

If you prefer another selection, or no book at all, you indicate your choice on the reply card and return it by the date specified (options include doing it via mail or online).

You will always have at least 15 days to decide.

Available Computer Book Clubs

In addition to Computer Books Direct, there are other clubs for computer books.

One of these clubs is the AllBookClubs Computer Book Club.

AllBookClubs Book Club Inc offers memberships in over a dozen interest areas, including computers & Internet.

They promise an always free membership, no obligations, and special deals and offers on the books you'll enjoy.
