Compaq Laptops
Compaq laptops are a natural part of the HP/Compaq family of products. They’re a natural part because Compaq has always been known for it’s expertise in small-scale computers and mobile products.
In fact, when the merger between the two companies played out, HP Jornada, a handheld device, went for scrap, while the Compaq iPaq, now HP iPaq continued to prosper. The combined company has such a strong wireless knowledge base that they’ve set their sights on cell phones (partly because many phones are equipped with cameras). If this scenario comes true, it should be expected that there would be a lot more interoperability between cell phones and laptops in the future for HP/Compaq laptops.
