Broadband TV
Broadband TV services are streamed television broadcasts over the Internet.
The beauty of watching broadband channels is that they can be sent from anywhere, you only need a high speed Internet connection to view them.
Some of the channels require subsciptions, but many are offered free of charge.
Watching online broadcasts of television may be a good way to improve or maintain your foreign language skills as there are streams widely available from Europe and Asia.
To be able to view the broadcasts, you need a broadband Internet connection, such as DSL, cable Internet, or satellite Internet connection.
You also need a media player, such as the RealPlayer or Microsoft Media Player 9, available for free online. Look at the instructions on each service provider for the right type of player.
In addition, there may be other system requirements to be able to view the programs.
