Broadband Companies

The twenty biggest broadband companies for DSL and cable have 95% of the existing customers for those technologies.

There is also satellite broadband Internet, which is very popular in rural areas, where the competition is mainly dial-up Internet service.

Of DSL and cable Internet, cable has an advantage of 2/3 of the existing customers connecting to the broadband Internet with cable.

However, DSL companies have been more successful in signing up new customers lately, gaining up on cable Internet's lead.
