Best Cell Phone Stores 2005


According to a new survey by JD Power and Associates, wireless customers are most satisfied with T-Mobile and Verizon cell phone stores.

These types of studies are becoming important to the carriers, as people are visiting cell phone stores more and considering changing the service provider due to the ability to change carriers without changing the cell phone number.

This is the second year JD Power and Associates has done this type of customer satisfaction at a cell phone service store study.

In the study, the retail store buying experience is ranked according to several factors, which are given weight.

These factors are (weight in parentheses):

sales staff (44%)
price/promotion (28%)
store display (14%)
store facility (14%)
