Bell South High Speed Internet


Bell South high speed internet is now available under the offers from AT&T Southeast.

The company offers their regional DSL packages in four flavors (as of May 2008):

  • FastAccess DSL Lite
  • FastAccess DSL Ultra
  • FastAccess DSL Xtreme
  • FastAccess DSL Xtreme 6.0

    The slowest of these packages has upstream speeds of to 768 Kbps and downstream 128 Kbps, while the fastest has up to 6 Mbps upstream / 512 Kbps downstream.

    The price range, as of May 2008, was from $19.95 a month to $42.95 for the fastest package, with no long term commitments on any of the available packages.

    The company also offers fast high speed satellite internet service through WildBlue, with speeds of up to 30 times faster than a land based dial-up.
