Austin air purifiers offer a great deal of variety to choose from, with selected models offering HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Adsorption) filtering. HEGA, created by Austin, has been dubbed the new benchmark for air quality control at homes.

Austin is a major developer and producer of air cleaning products, with their 480,000 square feet manufacturing plant reportedly being the largest air cleaning manufacturing plant in the world.

Austin has been a major force in air purification innovation, having been, for example, the first to introduce energy efficient PSC motors, which reduce energy costs by over 50%. The company was also the first to combine solid activated carbon (15 lbs.) and zeolite with HEPA filtration.

The available product ranges include purifiers specifically designed for allergy and asthma sufferers, as well as purifiers designed for standard home air quality control.

Austin HealthMate

This model has been designed for homes and offices. The purifier cleans Up to 1500 sq. ft. efficiently, and features include 60 sq. ft. true HEPA medical filter medium, nearly 15 lbs mixture of solid activated carbon and zeolite, and comes with a 3 speed control switch.

Austin HealthMate Jr.

These purifiers are the smaller versions of the Standard model. The JR is great for areas to 700 sq feet. Features include perforated steel intake housing (filter deck), 360 degree intake, 30 sq. ft. true HEPA medical filter medium, and 6.5 lbs. granular carbon/zeolite.

Austin Healthmate +

According to Austin, these Austin air purifiers are specifically designed for the chemically sensitive. Carbon-Zeolite mix and potassium iodide enable the product to remove volatile organic chemicals. Other features include 3 Speed control switch, cleaning power for up to 1500 sq. ft., 60 sq. ft. medical HEPA, and 15 lbs. granular carbon (impregnated with potassium iodide)/zeolite.

Austin HealthMate Jr. +

This model is a smaller version of the HealthMate Plus model, the JR Plus is great for areas to 700 sq feet. Features include 30 sq. ft. medical HEPA, 6.5 lbs. granular carbon (impregnated with potassium iodide)/zeolite, and Permafilt pre-filter.

Austin Allergy Machine

This model has been designed for asthma and allergy sufferers. The model combines the gas trapping ability of military carbon cloth and HEPA's particle filtration. This combination, which Austin engineers have created, is dubbed HEGA - High Efficiency Gas Adsorption. Cleans up to 1500 sq. ft. efficiently.

Austin HealthMate Jr. HEGA

This is a smaller version of the AllergyMachine model, great for areas up to 700 sq feet. Features include a strategically placed military carbon cloth, 30 sq. ft. true HEPA medical filter medium, and a Permafilt pre-filter.
