Air Purifier Consumer Reports

Air Purifier Consumer Reports can be found in a form of reviews on opinion sites, as feedback on online groups, and as ratings and associated reviews on popular reseller sites. Offline, you can find reports on popular electronics magazines. Because of the up-to-date quality of online air purifier reports, more and more consumers are turning to these online resources for information.

The first of these groups, opinion sites, has evolved into a major information source for many. Many of these sites offer convenience of a one-stop shopping as well, as some offer price comparisons as well. These companies include epinions.com (in association with shopping.com), and consumerreview.com (a division of e-centives, Inc.).

Air Purifier Consumer Reports – Online Groups

Online groups are great places to find opinions and discussion on air purifiers from other consumers that already have experience on the products you’re researching about. These online groups include groups.aol.com, groups.msn.com, groups.yahoo.com (former eGroups.com).

For example, the last time I checked, a search for “air purifiers” (without the quotes) on groups.aol.com found 3 groups, while the same search on groups.msn.com found 3 groups, and the result was 5 groups found on groups.yahoo.com.

Some of the discussion on these groups is very un-moderated, and the opinions should be taken very cautiously. As always, it’s advisable to do wide ranging research to confirm any claims made.

Air Purifier Consumer Reports – Popular Reseller Sites

Popular reseller sites that allow consumers to air their views on the appropriate pages include amazon.com and circuitcity.com. In addition, comparison shopping sites, such as bizrate.com and shopping.com have lots of consumer reviews attached to the air purifier products on sale there.

Amazon was the pioneer in getting consumers to view products available on the web site. From early on, they saw that the more there were these opinions, the more valuable such site was to the consumers. Others quickly followed suit.

Comparison shopping sites is one of the popular categories of web sites available, and these sites offer great number of product reviews by editors and consumers. For example, the last time I checked bizrate had 25,529,610 products comparable from 46,457 stores. Many of these products (and stores) had reviews attached to them.

Another thing to consider when surfing these reviews and reports is to look for some sort of ratings (in addition to text reviews) that make it easier to compare different products. For example, Circuitcity.com has air purifier ratings on four views on the quality these products (Quality, Ease of Use, Effectiveness, Cost-Benefit), and an overall rating.
