Advantage Voip

Advantage Voip (www.voipadvantage.co.uk) is a Voice over IP solutions provider in the UK, primarily for small businesses.

Many business choose to go with a VoIP system, such as that from Advantage, due to the low cost, flexibility, because it works virtually anywhere, and because businesses can have virtual presence in other places such as London without actually having offices there.

Plus, with Advantage, the clients get free calls to any other SIP user.

One of the ways in which small businesses can use the service is to answer the phone wherever they are, meaning if the phone call comes in to the clients business number, the office landline rings, the mobile phone rings as well as the voip phone on the laptop rings, all at the same time and the clients can answer the call wherever they are.

To use the Advantage service, you naturally need a broadband service to connect to the internet.

You will also need a:

  • VoIP Account
  • Softphone with handset or headset or Hardphone

A softphone is any USB handset or headset that you can plug into the PC / Laptop, available for around £15 or less from a Maplins, Tesco or PC World store or online from www.ebuyer.com.

A Voip account is a service that handles your VoIP calls, and with Advantage, can be setup as a single user line or as a full PBX service.
