26 Million People Online Looking for Love in January

Although a recent NY Times article headlined "E-Dating Bubble Springs a Leak", the industry is still going strong, with a reported over 26 million visitors to online dating sites in January, 2005.

Some of the concerns over Internet dating, according to the NY Times article, have been that potential partners may give misinformation, there seem to be a lot of one time dates, and many hours on the computer on a quest for a date.

In fact, there are now services, such as Two's Company Inc that try to prevent some of these downsides, by offering live online dating support to make the most out of the experience.
